All about Schoolstop.Net?
the online school shop where everyone saves.
Introducing Schoolstop.Net
Schoolstop.Net is an Internet-based shop that allows customers to buy their children’s school uniforms from home.
Schoolstop.Net’s strength is that it’s a partnership between customers, schools and uniform suppliers. Schoolstop.Net provides the communication channel for this three-way relationship.
Schoolstop.Net is intended for use by Australian customers. There is an identical site called Schoolstop.co.nz for New Zealand customers. You’ll find a link to that site on our Home page.
Each participating school has its own individual web page maintained by the school’s uniform supplier. You have the choice of browsing either just your school’s own page, or more widely.
If you want, you can browse the product listings of any of our participating retailers. Participating schools’ web pages are password protected, so the only school’s page you that can visit is your own.
If you wish to purchase from a participating school or retailer you must:
- register with either that school or retailer, in order to shop with us online
AND
- if you’re going to register with your school, you must first obtain the password from the principal.
You can browse any of the retailer or distributor product listings on the site without registering. However, you do have to register before starting to shop.
Schoolstop.Net also understands that some shoppers will not have their own computer access, and for this reason we provide a hardcopy order form, accessible from your school’s secure page.
This can be downloaded and printed by the school or parent groups. These forms can then be used for mail ordering.
A full guide to all aspects of using this site is available as a downloadable PDF file. You can access this by clicking the Shopper Guide link in the Shopping Menu to the left.
We advise new customers to print this file and keep it handy for reference purposes while using the site. You can also access a pop-up Help screen for each part of the site by clicking the Need Help? link on the same menu.

How do you shop at Schoolstop.Net?
Once the school’s individual web page has been established, the school is assigned a password to control access to the school’s pages. Customers will need to log on to the school’s page with this password, and the school controls its use.
The system keeps a record of previous purchases, which simplifies subsequent shopping visits. Any number of shoppers can use the same email address - each with their own password. In this way, parents can register and shop from work,
or from a friend’s place, or even from a school computer. Alternatively, you can print the hardcopy order form and fax or post your order to the school’s uniform supplier without having to register online at all.
Payment can be made in several ways, depending on agreed arrangements between the school and the school’s supplier. The options available include:
- Credit card details submitted online
- Direct payment to the supplier
Delivery of your goods can also be made in a number of ways, depending on agreed arrangements between the school and the supplier. The options include:
- Delivery to your home
- Delivery via school
- Collection from the uniform supplier

Who benefits from Schoolstop.Net?
Schoolstop.Net is a partnership in which everyone benefits.
Parents benefit through saving time and money, two of the biggest challenges facing us today. Schoolstop.Net provides a convenient and efficient way for parents to shop for their children’s school uniforms from a handy computer, at any time.
This takes the hassle out of having to visit the school shop, if the school provides this service [which may be open only limited hours]; or having to drive to a retail outlet, with all the attendant problems of traffic and parking.
For many people, the tyranny of distance is also prohibitive. Schoolstop.Net can eliminate the need to travel long distances just to buy school uniforms.
Schools benefit by having greater control over school uniform requirements. Having a deal with a single retailer can ensure a higher level of conformity to the school’s uniform policy. Furthermore, the school may be able to arrange rebates from the nominated retailer,
so that the school will receive financial advantage from parents choosing to shop in this way. This can help to create a better learning environment in your school by generating additional funds. In this way Schoolstop.Net can allow parents to actively support
their school while still saving time and money.
Uniform suppliers benefit by providing a more flexible professional service to their school customers; by better managing supply and demand; and saving on their administrative workload. All this without having to establish, promote and maintain their own online presence.
